KRS created a welcoming arrival that blends the polish of a traditional golf club with the relaxed character of The Village.

The Village in Dallas, Texas, is a multi-use community, consisting of apartments, restaurants, a fitness center, and more. Part of that more is the Village Golf Club, founded in 1968 and a part of golf history.
When Village Hospitality wanted to re-envision the golf club, they reached out to KRS for our design experience and innovation. The goal was to create a fun-filled environment for the entire family. This would include a golf pro shop, indoor swing simulator bays, an 18-hole putting course, as well as an open-air tiki bar.
THE RESULT
The end result includes unexpected details such as the series of tiki figure expressions found in various areas of millwork. The Tiki bar also incorporates small tropical themes throughout, creating an easy spirit for customers to enjoy a drink or meal after a round of golf. And the pro shop contains everything you’d need for a day on the course.
The KRS design team established a direction aimed somewhere between tropical tiki and classy clubhouse, capturing both the history of VGC and the future of The Village.
