Why KRS
A store opening is lost in the last two weeks, not the first six months.
The design of your store environment and the manufacturing of its displays, signage and décor is a substantial investment of time and money. All of it arrives on a loading dock, on a date that cannot move, into a site whose conditions changed last week. Installation is where that investment is either protected or quietly lost.
Accountability, not updates on request
Clear, continuous communication and fast problem solving, from crews who have done it before.
Nearly 60 years, nationwide
Hundreds of stores, restaurants and hotels; tens of thousands of projects across the U.S.
Single site to national rollout
Your first store and your hundredth get the same care, whether you are independent, a franchisor or a national brand.
Real-time, cloud-based reporting
Our TeamKRS activity and ticket system means issues in the field are communicated and resolved immediately.
One point of contact
No tedious back-and-forth across email, texts and missed calls — the communication chain stays unbroken.
Certified crews, backed by our own plant
KRS teams are the A Team
Our size and stature in retail design means access to the best crews across the United States — professional installers we use consistently, who share our commitment to excellence.
KRS teams deliver the best value
Most general contractors have no direct experience installing store fixtures, shelving, kiosks, décor, displays, signage, wall coverings and graphics. Bringing in an expert crew is a proven, efficient use of time and money.
KRS teams take responsibility
Taking a chance on inexperienced labor, especially during today’s labor shortages, invites costly errors and delays. The best teams ensure the best results.
We break it, we replace or repair it
Backed by our 100,000 sq ft production facility. If a component is lost or damaged we repair or replace it — even if we didn’t fabricate it. The standard construction warranty extends from one year to two when we manufacture and install the décor.
52 stores · six months
“Most of our 52-store rollout was completed in six months. Stuff happens in any project, but KRS dealt with it.”
Mike Needler, CEO, Fresh Encounter Inc.
Three-layer project management
Headquarters, on site, and on the crew
Installation is where the rubber meets the road, so we manage it in three layers rather than one.
Install Planners
Based at headquarters. They provide a detailed project report to the client daily and coordinate timing and logistics as site conditions evolve.
Field Project Managers
Corporate team, based on site. They coordinate with the GC and other trades, oversee delivery and inventory of décor components, troubleshoot, and hold the schedule.
Certified Crew Leads
Licensed contractors with two to three years of specialized training plus annual recertification. Responsible for site safety, installation method, daily cleanup and photo-documented progress reports.
TeamKRS
The system the three layers run on
The three layers run on TeamKRS, our cloud activity and ticket system.
PLACEHOLDER. TeamKRS is the activity and ticket system every installation runs through. Field managers and crew leads log progress, issues and photo documentation against the site as the day happens, rather than writing it up afterwards. Install planners at headquarters see the same record in real time, so a problem raised on the floor at 10am is a ticket with an owner before noon — not an email chain that surfaces at the end of the week.
PLACEHOLDER. Because the record is continuous rather than reconstructed, the reporting falls out of the work instead of being added to it. Clients get a single, current view of every location in a rollout, and nobody has to ask for a status update.
- Real-time ticketing from the field
- Photo-documented progress
- One record per site, headquarters to crew
- Online status tracker across a rollout
