THE BRIEF

King Retail Solutions (KRS) collaborated with longtime partner Calgary Co-op to deliver a fresh, vibrant design for the new 55,000-square-foot Oakridge grocery store. As part of a larger retail hub that also includes Calgary Co-op Wine, Spirits & Beer, a Gas Bar, and Cannabis store, the food store showcases a variety of new offerings.

KRS created a cohesive signage and décor package that aligns with Calgary Co-op’s established brand while drawing attention to exciting additions such as an Oyster Bar, a Bistro featuring wings, soups, and curry, a Natural Choice department with an in-store advisor, a Pharmacy consultation area, and expanded seating.

The thoughtful use of color, pattern, and texture throughout the space enhances the feeling of freshness and supports Calgary Co-op’s ongoing commitment to innovation and meaningful community engagement.

KRS was honored to support Calgary Co-op’s commitment to community connection and forward-thinking retail.
